It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edward Powell Sr. (Georgetown, Kentucky), born in New Orleans, Louisiana, who passed away on May 18, 2020, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Powell, Sr. and Julia Broussard. He is survived by: his brothers, Willie Jr. and Warren Powell; his wife Alverita "Jackie" Powell (Jones); and his children, Edward Powell, Jr. (Ladon) of LaPlace, LA, Kevin Powell, Sr. (Bonita) of Georgetown, Tammy Herbert (Kevin) of Georgetown and Jimmi Nicholson of Lexington. He is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, family and friends.
