It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Emma Yates (Georgetown, Kentucky), born in Salyersville, Kentucky, who passed away on December 31, 2020, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde Harper and Rose Harper (Helton); and her brother James Whitt Harper. She is survived by: her husband Joseph "Joe" Yates; her children, Jeffrey L. Gibson (Carol), Michael R. Gibson (Carla), Lisa A. Helton (Rodney) and Heather M. Patrick; her grandchildren, Thomas Gibson, Michael Brandon Gibson, Chris Gibson (Crystal), Matt Gibson (Ann), Michelle Germond, Lauren Germond and Brittany Miller; her great grandchildren, Kaylee, Natalie Gibson, Josh Zachary, Hunter, Madysen, Kyleigh, Cameron Gibson, Ryan Guenther, Skylar L. and Carson Ray True; and her siblings, Dora Cooper (Charles) and Adrian Harper (Dorothy). She is also survived by numerous nephews, dear friends.
