He is survived by: his spouse Michele A. Sabolsky Long of Paris; his children, Gary Long of Ashburn, Heather Long of Edmonds and Megan Flynn of Eau Claire; his grandchildren, Anthony Long, Blair Long, Zoey Long and Ethan Flynn; and his sister Nancy Cook of Sheridan.
