He was predeceased by: his brothers, Dennis, Ronnie and Billy Watkins. He is survived by: his wife Bettye Collins Watkins; his daughter Lori Watkins Seivers (Jeffrey Alan) of Cynthiana; his stepsons, Gerald Craycraft (Nancy) of Mays Lick and Edward "Eddie" Craycraft of Monticello; his siblings, Larry Watkins (Judy) of Carlisle, Jeffrey Watkins of Flemingsburg and Carol Eckler (Alvin) of Fleming County; his granddaughter Elizabeth Nichole Stanfield; his stepgranddaughter Lisa Mullins; and his great grandchildren, Elliot Wayne and Cooper Alan Burkhart.
The family encourages memorial contributions to Bluegrass Hospice Care in lieu of flowers.
