We are sad to announce that on May 25, 2021, at the age of 85, Jimmie Sue Griffin (Georgetown, Kentucky), born in Irvine, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband James Kenneth Griffin; her parents, James C. Ashurst and Mildred Ratliff Ashurst; her siblings, Barbara Cox and Everett Louis Ashurst; her daughter-in-law Debbie Griffin; and her grandson Richard Paul Fowler.
She is survived by: her children, Jeanne Ritchey of Carolina Beach, NC, Kenny Griffin (Sarah) of Salvisa, KY and Sandy Griffin of Lexington, KY; her grandchildren, Brian Fowler (Heather), Brooke Pearce (Jeff), Brad Griffin (Ashley), Sherri Griffin Schmonsky (Shawn), Josh Flora (Kayla), Michael Griffin, Ashley Griffin, Courtney Beck and Emily Miniard; her siblings-in-law, Barbara (Tiny), Cook (Jim Bob), Ruby Griffin, Shirley Hoffman and Johnny Griffin (Jane); her niece Suzie Simerl (Alan); and her nephew Ted Cox (Amy). She is also survived by 19 great-grandchildren.
