He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde O'Neil and Syble Joe Wilhoite; his granddaughter Emily Beth Lewis; and his siblings, Esther Clyde Green, John C. Wilhoite, Roger L. Wilhoite and William O'Neil Wilhoite.
He is survived by: his wife Jeanette Wilhoite; his children, David Nelson Wilhoite (Melissa) of Stamping Ground, Kentucky, Jennifer Lynn Wilhoite of Stamping Ground and Leila Helen Lewis (Donnie) of Hillsboro, Kentucky.; his grandchildren, Chelsey Layne Starwalt of Georgetown and Brandi Leigh Lewis of Hillsboro, Kentucky.; and his sister Wanda Joyce Johnson of Lakeland, Florida..
