It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Edd Layton (Georgetown, Kentucky), born in Mount Vernon, Kentucky, who passed away on September 18, 2018, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his wife Jean Johnson-Layton; and his children, Anne Layton of Athens, GA., Susan Cooper Paris (Ralph), John Layton Owenton (Saundra) and Carol Mudrak Georgetown (Jeff).

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the MS Society.
