He was predeceased by: his parents, William Howard and Ella Mae Moore (Walls). He is survived by: his son John Christopher Moore (Stephanie Marie); and his grandchildren, Christopher L. Moore, Justin Moore, Cecy Moore, Kassie Moore and Alana Moore. He is also survived by one sister and three brothers.
