It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joyce Smith (Georgetown, Kentucky), born in Cincinnati, Ohio, who passed away on December 16, 2021, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Carl D. Smith, Sr.; and her parents, Ernest Cochran and Florence Burton Cochran. She is survived by: her sons, Carl D. Smith, Jr. (Paula Sue), Troy F. Smith (Mackenzie) and Jason E. Smith (Jessica); her grandchildren, Carl D. Smith, III, Dillon Smith (Angie), Matthew Smith of Norfolk, VA, Virginia Smith of Charlotte, NC and Elliott Smith; her great grandchild Caroline Smith; her sisters, Verda Boner and Gail Giagios of Falmouth; and her pets, Willie and Sophie.
