It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lela Byrd (Georgetown, Kentucky), who passed away on February 19, 2021, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Lela Byrd to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her spouse Carlen Byrd; and her parents, Dolph Sizemore and Annie Cornett Sizemore. She is survived by: her grandchildren, Joan Harrison (Ershal) of Sadieville, Kentucky and Percillia Ewen (Bing) of Frankfort; and her siblings, Delbert Sizemore (Judith), Athelene Brown of Lexington, Kentucky. and Florence Langley of Lexington, Kentucky.. She is also survived by 11 great grandchildren.
Due to Governor Beshear's mandate, 50% occupancy of the funeral home will be in practice and face coverings and proper social distancing are required for all who attend.
