He was predeceased by: his father Russell Blair Graves Sr.; and his grandparents, Lonnie O., Lucille Bruin Graves, Dias Elmer (Junior) and Addie Jo Smith Shipley.

He is survived by: his significant other Monica Seuss; his mother Jeannie D. Shipley Graves of Georgetown, KY; his children, Tyler Graves (Celestia) of Georgetown, KY and Cheyenne Graves (Nikita) of Georgetown, KY; his grandson Logan James Drexel Graves; and his siblings, Russell Graves Jr. (Lori), Lisa Wright (late Charlie), Amy Walker (Tim) and Jennifer Graves Perry. He is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
