He was predeceased by: his parents, Otistean Thatcher Cortner and William Elsworth Thatcher; and his sisters, Barbara Wood and Anita Thatcher. He is survived by: his wife Deborah Hight Thatcher; his sisters, Rosa Smith (Jim) of Spencer, WV and Linda Hunt (Joel) of Madisonville, KY; and his grandchildren, Isaac Thatcher, Nicholas Thatcher and Katelyn Thatcher.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Bluegrass Hospice Care, Georgetown First United Methodist Church or the Scott County Humane Society.
