She was predeceased by: her husband Benjamin Franklin Hayes, Jr.; her parents, Dewey Franklin and Vida Faye Clem Ferguson; and her siblings, Paul Ferguson, Clyde Ferguson, Wanda Cathleen Rice and Goldie Irene Wilburn.
She is survived by: her son Benjamin Darnell "B. J." Hayes (Kimberly); her siblings, Judy Gail Jenkins (Bill) and Roy Calbert Ferguson (Margery); her grandchildren, Kameron Yonts (Mary), Amberly Williams and Austin Hayes (Blair); and her great grandchildren, Kayden and Makinley Yonts.
