He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Eaves and Allie U. Eaves; his stepdaughters, Beverly Sue Whitlock, Teresa Ann Ferguson and Jacquelyn C. Calvert; his grandchildren, Todd Ferguson and Debbie Brooks Miller; and his siblings, John Eaves, Floyd Eaves, Melvin Eaves, Lucian Eaves, Ernestine Riddle and Elinor Lewis.

He is survived by: his friends, Faye Carmichael and Shirley Hedges. He is also survived by his six grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, fifteen great-great-grandchildren.
