He was predeceased by: his parent Lee Hampton; his son James Craig Bailey; and his siblings, Nora Lee Rodgers, Tom Bailey, John Bailey, Carrick Bailey and Roland Bailey.
He is survived by: his parent Delilah Gardner Bailey; his children, Pamela Ann Strickler (Ray), Carol Jean Hall and Don Michael Bailey; and his siblings, Buford Bailey (Brenda), Ethel Henderson, Bonnie Morrison, Margie Bratton and Nancy King. He is also survived by grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren.
