He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Alene Harris McClain; his parents, John Hayden and Bessie Katherine Vickers McClain; his children, Roy Eugene McClain (Melissa) of Garrard County, Phillip Dean McClain (Ronda) of Harrodsburg, Connie Alene Eades (Dan) of Mercer County and Tonya Christina Brown (Virgil) of Madison County, Kentucky; his grandchildren, Jeremy David McClain (Kimberly), Hollie Ann McClain, Stacy Kiel (Josh), Tracy Ulmer (Derrick), Brittani Raily (Justin), Brian Stamper (Chelsea), Josh Stamper (Dakota), Travis Eades (Ashley) and Jessica Turner; his brother John Wesley; his sister-in-law Jean McClain of Versailles, Kentucky.; and his brother Joe McClain. He was also cherished by 19 great grandchildren.
