She was predeceased by: her parents, Loraine Hollingsworth Gano and Sterling Smith Gano; her husband Bill Hays; and her cousin Nancy Nunnelley Phares. She is survived by: her children, Keith Hays (Stacey) of Ft. Thomas, Bill Hays of Lexington and Loraine Griffith (Russ) of Lexington; her grandchildren, Hays Cannon (Madison Pergrem), Clark Griffith, Tice Hays, Ellen Griffith, Pamela Pabian (Brad) and Rob Rich (Rebecca); her great grandchild Caroline Pabian; her caregivers, Joan McWhorter, Kori Estep and Ashley Masterson; and her pet Buddy.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, August 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Georgetown Cemetery (710 S Broadway St, Georgetown, KY 40324).
