He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Robinson and Lillian Everett Robinson; and his siblings, Vince Robinson, Viola Donovan, Rosina Sasher, Wilma LaBare and Jane Abner.

He is survived by: his wife Deborah Jackson Robinson; his children, Craig Robinson (Linda), Scott Robinson (Tracy), Tim Robinson (Andrea) and Kerri Clark (Dan); his siblings, Everett Robinson, James Robinson, Blaine Robinson, Betty Myers and Jo Anne Cheeseman; and his grandchildren, Jessica Robinson, Cameron Robinson, Taylor Robinson, Amelia Robinson and Tyler Robinson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions in William's memory are suggested to a veterans organization of one's choice.
