She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Orval Brooks and Rebecca Miller Brooks of Glasgow; her husband Gary Douglas Powell; her children, Michael Lowe (Maria), Andrew Lowe (Ashley), Sammy Lowe (Daphne), Melissa Richardson (Todd), Gary Botts Powell (Liz) and Christopher Douglas Powell (Jennifer); her grandchildren, Annie, Anderson, Matthew, Mason Lowe, Emma Grace Powell, Sam, Betsy Richardson and Zachary Lowe; her siblings, Roger Redford (Helen), Orval Brooks, Jr. (Rita), Connie Esters (Terry) and Terry Brooks (Cheryl); her close friend Sharon Oliver; and also, Dakota Lowe, Mary Lowe and Barbara Harper. She was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.
