He was predeceased by: his parent Acie Steenbergen; and his siblings, Rodney Steenbergen, Margaret Gosnell, Blond Duvall and Juanita Jones.
He is survived by: his parent Ruby Jane Pardue Steenbergen; his wife Noxie Huddleston Steenbergen; his daughter Sonya Turner (Rickey) of Glasgow; his grandson Ryan Turner of Glasgow; and his brother Larry Steenbergen (Sylvia) of Glasgow. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
