She is survived by: her parent Emersonia Smith Yancy; her son John Thomas Carter of Glasgow; her grandchildren, John Beau Carter and Chanda Carter Burchett (Richard); her great grandchildren, John Andrew Carter, Kylie Burchett and Audrey Burchett; her great great grandchild Emma Grace Carter; her brother David Smith (Betty) of Austin, KY.; and also Fiancée Melissa Stinson.
