She was predeceased by: her parents, Buford Hamilton and Pauline Stephens Hamilton. She is survived by: her husband Leon Benedict; her sons, Robert "Sonny" Benedict and Joe Mike Benedict; her granddaughter Sonya Jo Hogan; her daughters, Leona Norris (Gary) of Glasgow and Barbara Clayton (Rick) of Brandenburg; her grandchildren, Felicia Montgomery (Joe) of Lucas, Marchelle Forish (David) of Lexington, Anna Whited (Ray) of Brandenburg and Michael Benedict (Jennifer) of Ft. Walton Beach, FL; her great grandchildren, Jessica Henry (Paul) of Glasgow, Taylor, Colton Montgomery of Lucas, Kodi, David Forish of Lexington, Emily Benedict of Ft. Walton Beach, Ryan Bruner and Miranda Medley of Brandenburg; and her great great grandchild Weston Henry of Glasgow.
