It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gletha Lavon Emerson (Glasgow, Kentucky), born in Smiths Grove, Kentucky, who passed away on July 20, 2019, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jimmy Hugh Houchens and Eula Doris Parker Houchens; her great grandchild Trevor Combs; and her sister Gertrude Jessie. She is survived by: her children, James Ray Emerson (Vickie) of Smiths Grove and Faye Kinslow (Steve) of Glasgow; her grandchildren, Tiffany Combs (Tim), Joe Emerson, Robert Hogue III (Jennifer) and Martha Mack (Joey); her great grandchildren, Tia Rae, Tamara, Ethan Combs, Cheyene, Liam Emerson, Da'Shea, Dristan Mack, Jamie, Allison Hogue, Dylan and Katelyn Simmons; and her brother Hugh Houchens (Jimmie). She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
