We are sad to announce that on September 1, 2018, at the age of 82, James Luther Burris (Glasgow, Kentucky), born in Edmonton, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parent William Burris; his siblings, Georgia Firkins, Herman Burris and Cecil Burris; and also Barbara Jean Hodge Burris.

He is survived by: his parent Anne England Burris; his children, Debbie Lowe (Danny) of Glasgow and Jeff Burris (Martha) of Glasgow; and his sister Faye Hoover of Glasgow. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
