He was predeceased by: his parent Gilbert Hood; his wife Avis Marie Jones Hood; his son Jerry Lee Hood; and his brothers, Clay Hood, Paul Hood, Clifton Hood and William Hood.
He is survived by: his parent Arlie Goode; his grandson Kenny Hood (Cindy) of Glasgow; his great grandchild Tessa Hood; and his great great grandchild Bentley Ryan Sturgeon. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
