He is survived by: his wife Wanda Benson; his sons, Mark Benson, Eric Benson (Cathy) and Kirk Benson (Theresa); his siblings, Dennis, Stuart, Diane Buchheit and Eileen Deren; his grandchildren, Claire, Gunnar, Sophia, Aleah and Kilee; and his siblings-in-law, Vivian Snodgrass and Faye Ammerman (late Charles). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
