He was predeceased by : his parents, John Davidson and Margaret James Davidson; his daughter Sheila Davidson; and his siblings, Junior Arthel Davidson and Willene Walls.

He is survived by : his daughter Judy D. Wright of Stanford; his granddaughter Carla Perry (Robert) of Salvisa, Kentucky; and his sisters, Wanda Hale of Lancaster, Deva Ramsey (Russell) of Clarksville and Louise Timberlake of Moreland, Kentucky..
