We are sad to announce that on June 16, 2025, at the age of 82, Brenda Joy Sanders Shelton Speaks of Grayson, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Craten Sanders and Mary Combs Sanders; her former husband Phillip Michael Shelton; her husband James Speaks; and her siblings, Donald, Clyde, Fred, John, James Raymond, Roger Dean Sanders, Connie Sue and Sharon Sanders.
She is survived by: her sons, Jimmy Shelton (Heather) of Grayson, John Shelton (Cindy) of Ashland, Jeff Speaks of Tucson, AZ and Scott (Lynette) of Raceland, KY.; her brothers, Harry Sanders of Grayson and Darrell Sanders of Plano, TX.; her grandchildren, Max Shelton, Chloe Shelton, Zach Shelton (Sara), Ashley Gibson (Payton), Derrick Shelton, Makenzi Murphy and Elijah Speaks; and her great grandchildren, Freya and Lennox Murphy.
