She was predeceased by: her parents, Jay Burton and Melinda Waggoner Burton; her husband Timothy Carter; and her siblings, Freda Conley, Ruby Sue Doyle, Steven Burton and Dennie Burton.
She is survived by: her children, Melinda Delee Butler (Chris) of Ashland and Jason Edward Carter (Mary) of Grayson; her grandchildren, Dylan Williams, Timothy Chase Carter, Kyra Thibault (Josh), Kerri Butler and Claire Beth Cater; her great grandchild Adilynn Thibault; her siblings, Clayton Burton of Grayson and Rosemary Lloyd of Louisville; and her niece Johnda Kay Berry of Grayson. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
