It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Barbara Gay Poplin Gallion of Greenup, Kentucky, who passed away on April 5, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Foster Poplin and Anna Gertrude Harris Poplin; her former life partner Charles Robert Claborn; her husband Leroy Gallion; and her siblings, Delmas "Bud" Poplin, Rocky Poplin, Paul Poplin, Thomas Elwood Poplin and Patsy Walker.

She is survived by : her daughter Oreatha Murray (Sean) of Ashland, Kentucky; her brothers, David Poplin (Glenda) of Argillite, Darrell Poplin (Maria) of Greenup and Butch Poplin (Linda) of Catlettsburg, Kentucky; her grandchildren, Connor Barber and McKenzie Barber; and her niece Sherri Croston (Bill) of Argillite. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Monday, April 8th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, April 9th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Reed Funeral Home (612 Main St, Greenup, KY 41144). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 9th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
