He was predeceased by: his parents, James David and Tempie Bradford Foster; and his siblings, Vernon Foster, Velton Foster, Chapman Foster, Charles Junior Foster, Cletis Foster, James Foster, Beatrice Daniels, Esther Carr, Irene Campbell, Geraldine Preston, Anna Lambert and Sue Burnett.
He is survived by: his wife Ella Louise Hammond Foster; his children, Rusty Foster (Cheri) of Lloyd, Kentucky and Cindy McCullough of Lloyd, Kentucky; his sister Phyllis Spradlin of South Shore, Kentucky; his grandchildren, Phillip McCullough (Leah), Brittany Stambaugh (Gerald), Timothy Jack McCullough (Sarah), Adam Foster (Sarah), Benjamin Foster and Reece Foster; and his great grandchildren, Noah, Logan, Kaelyn, Sophie, Jonah, Jaxon, Lydia, Samuel, Ayden and Grant. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 13th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, August 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Reed Funeral Home (612 Main St, Greenup, KY 41144). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Lloyd First Baptist Church (87 Church St, Lloyd, KY 41144).
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Community Hospice Care Center, 1480 Carter Ave., Ashland, Kentucky 41101.
