She was predeceased by : her parents, Samuel Franklin Morris and Ida Florence Tooley Morris; and her husband J. T. "Frog" Duvall. She is survived by : her close friend Mark Everett of Greenville; her daughter Melinda Newman (Paul) of Greenville; and her grandchildren, Wesley Newman and Jacqueline Newman. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
