She was predeceased by: her former husbands, Curtis Gates and Terry Spears; her husband Billy Kennedy; her daughter Jessica Gates; her grandson Derek English; her brother L. C. McElvain; and her parents, Joseph Boria and Mary Wester.
She is survived by: her children, Terri Vincent (Bryan) and James Spears; her grandchildren, Braxton Beal, Jazzmine Noffsinger, Bryson Beal, Dillon English, Mason Hicks, Drayden Spears and Harlow Spears; and her sisters, Mary DeArmond, Cathy King, Margie Evitts and Ramona Johnson. She is also survived by three great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Tucker Funeral Home (113 N 3rd St, Central City, KY 42330). A funeral service was held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 4:53 PM at the Nebo Cemetery (253 Nebo Cemetery Rd, Greenville, KY 42345).
