She was predeceased by : her parents, Robert Lee Duncan and Dora Frances Cleaver; her sisters, Mary Ann Valentine and Fanny Ditto; and her stepfather James E. Ditto.

She is survived by : her nephew Donminic Young; her husband Leonard William Brown; her son Bradley Lamarr Cleaver; her stepdaughter Serenity Faith Ditto (Brian Case); and her siblings, Berneice Crawford (JD), Morris Duncan (Gwen), QueTashia Kuhn (Donald), Jaquiez Amer Monroe, Taeveion Daniel Gonzalez and Malachi Josiah Gonzalez. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends.
