He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Mark and Hallie Mae Burrus (Jones); and his siblings, Davis Burrus, Flossie Burrus, Edna Coates, Opal Sigar, Elizabeth Burrus and Alma Meaux.
He is survived by: his children, Deborah Kay Hayden (Glenward) of Hillsborough, NJ and James Kevin Burrus (Jillian) of Philadelphia, PA; and his grandchildren, Jonathan Hayden of Denver, CO and Kristen Hayden of Hillsborough, NJ.. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Sims Funeral Services (130 N Chiles St, Harrodsburg, KY 40330). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
