With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Laura Sue McGuire Ritchie of Harrodsburg, Kentucky, who passed away on June 19, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Geneva Dean McGuire and Oliver "Wendell" Holmes McGuire; her brothers, Michael "Mickey" McGuire (Ann) and Benjamin "Ben" McGuire; and her brother-in-law Charles "Bob" Thorne.
She is survived by: her husband Charles Ritchie; her sister Mary Jo Thorne; her daughters, Becky Pemberton (Rob) and Mary Morgan (Steve); her sister-in-law Bess Combs McGuire; and her grandchildren, Steven Pemberton (Danielle), Stephanie White (Casey), Justin Pemberton (Kylie), Katie Morgan (James), Danny Pemberton (Hannah) and Jake Morgan. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
