She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack Messer and Ella Mae Slone Messer; her husband Mike Griggs; and her sister Carol Elson. She is survived by: her daughters, Bobbie Joe Rui-Franco (Jose) of Lexington, KY and Alexandria "Ali" Griggs (Nick) of Lexington, KY; her brothers, Larry Messer, Dean Messer, Bill Messer of Lexington, KY, Lennie Messer (Sandie) of Lexington, KY, Thomas Messer of Viper, KY and Shane Messer (Honna Momma) of Hazard, KY; her half-siblings, Phyllis Feltner, Wallace McCray of Viper, KY and Donnie McCray of Hazard, KY; and her grandchildren, Isaiah, Petra, Ella Grace and Olivia Faye. She is also survived by aunts, uncles, family & friends.
