He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Hickman and Kathleen Beaven Woodring; his wife Shelba Ann Henderson Woodring; and his sister Iva Waggener. He is survived by: his children, Stephanie Ann Williams of Seminole, Florida and Robert Bruce Woodring (Angela) of Henderson, Kentucky; his sister Judy Woodring of Morganfield, Kentucky; his grandchildren, Landon Scott Woodring (Staci) of Henderson, Emily Brooke Woodring (Jordan Toribio) of Henderson and Madison Nicole Pardue (Awston) of Greenville; his great grandchildren, Dean Pardue, Colter Pardue and Walker Chambers; and his brother-in-law George F. Henderson, Jr. (Ruth Ann) of Troutman. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 4th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (307 Center St, Henderson, KY 42420). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
