He was predeceased by: his parents, Velma A. Bushrod-Cabell and Robert "Doc" Cosby; his stepfather Herbert R. Cabell; his son Dante Martin; and his sister Gloria Bushrod.
He is survived by: his siblings, Lucy Hancock (Richard), John Bushrod, Margaret Cabell-Fisher (Clarence), Etta Cabell-Holmes and Darlene Cosby Burris. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Norris Chapel Baptist Church (937 Washington St, Henderson, KY 42420). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Fernwood Cemetery (920 Madison St, Henderson, KY 42420).
