Mabel Irene Jenkins Stewart Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mabel Irene Jenkins Stewart of Henderson, Kentucky, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 1, 2025 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Marshall Jenkins and Offie Jenkins; her husband Houston Stewart; her sons, Benny Stewart and Barry Stewart; her sister Marlene McCormick; and her granddaughter Shirl Stewart.
She is survived by: her daughter Kathy Cessna (Tony); her stepchildren, Arkley Stewart (Hazel) and Barbara Leibfreid; her grandchildren, Jordan Cessna (Callie), Justin Cessna (Brianna), Benjamin Stewart and Kara Leibfreid; her great grandchildren, Jace Cessna, Mia Cessna, Elle Cessna and Natalie Leibfreid; and her great great grandchild Rhiannon Hutchason. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Tucker Funeral Home (113 N 3rd St, Central City, KY 42330). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 at the Rose Hill Cemetery (603 Everly Brothers Blvd, Central City, KY 42330).
