He is survived by: his wife Paula Saalwaechter Shelton; his son Jeffrey R. Shelton of Henderson, Kentucky; his granddaughter Maggie Elizabeth Driskell (Shane) of Henderson, Kentucky; his great grandchild Nolan Jace Driskell of Henderson, Kentucky; his siblings, Jannett Gentry (Larry) of Niagara, Kentucky, Kenneth Shelton of Henderson and Ed Oglesby (Mina) of Florida; and his friend Ernie Blake of Louisville, Kentucky.. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
