She was predeceased by : her parents, Roland Powell and Maxine Handley Powell; and her siblings, Donna Powell, Vicki Robinson, James and Ronnie Powell.

She is survived by : her daughter Leslie Williams (Ronrico) of Elizabethtown; her grandson Kendric Williams of Elizabethtown; and her siblings, Peggy Jeffers, Roland Hayes Powell and Bobby Kent Powell. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
