He was predeceased by : his parents, Eugene Elkins and Ozell Irene Wilkinson; and his nephew Shawn Gordon. He is survived by : his son Timmie L. Elkins, Jr. (Carrie "Fae"); his grandsons, Dalen and Kaden Elkins; and his siblings, Katherine Huber (James), Doris Aubrey (Bobby), Norma Kimbro (Rick), Edward Elkins (Mable) and Tony Elkins (Pamela).
