She is survived by: her children, James Burrus III, Norman Burrus, Diane Grandberry, Irene Knighten (Rodney) and Barbara Bussell (Benji); and her siblings, Richard Chambers (Virginia), Joe Chambers (Sharon), George Chambers, Paul Chambers (Beverly), Matthew Chambers, Charlie Chambers, Darden Chambers, Lewis Chambers, Mary Irvin (Lewis), Ida Merritt (Ronnie), Marilyn Chambers and Zola Jackson (Phil). She is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Gamble Funeral Home (1311 Liberty St, Hopkinsville, KY 42240). A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
