He was predeceased by: his parents, Denison Wheeler Miner, Sr. and Mary Augusta Manning Miner; his brother Jim Miner; and his wife Elaine Holler Stout. He is survived by: his granddaughter Danielle Charles; his daughters, Verlinda Miner, Heather Rundquist and Kimberly Jordan; and his siblings, Grace Wettemann and Alden Miner. He is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren.
