Though Doris Ann may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Doris Ann touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ora Lee Torian and Arthur Torian; her husband John Wesley Davie; and her granddaughter Jenicia Bussell. She is survived by: her children, Jennifer Yarbrough, Francenia Ford, Dennis Sivils (Mary), Paula Davie, Angel Davie and John Davie; and her uncle Sammie Torian. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren; 2 great great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Gamble Funeral Home (1311 Liberty St, Hopkinsville, KY 42240). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
