With solemn reverence, we commemorate Eugene Almy of Hopkinsville, Kentucky, whose life came to an end on October 19, 2025 at the age of 90, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Hart Almy and Nellie Tresch Almy; and his siblings, Ford Almy, James "Red" Almy, Paul Almy, Frank Almy, Thomas Almy, Christine Webb and Betty Jean Kenney.
He is survived by: his children, Crystal Lyons (Chris) of Illinois, David Almy (Sue) of Georgia and Paul Almy of Illinois; his brothers, Herbert Almy of Hopkinsville and Charles Almy (Loretta) of Hopkinsville; and his grandchildren, Jessica Sprague (Kyle), Matthew Lyons (Kandice), David Almy, Jr. (Crystal), Ryan Almy and Kyle Almy (Candace). He is also survived by his eleven great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home (700 Country Club Ln, Hopkinsville, KY 42240). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West (5817 Fort Campbell Blvd, Hopkinsville, KY 42240).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in his memory to the Hopkinsville Salvation Army.
