He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Billy and Lois Christine Foutch Abbitt; and his siblings, Don Abbitt and Lois Ann Abbitt. He is survived by: his children, Charles Abbitt of Cleburne, Jeremy Duke Abbitt (Lindsey) of Hopkinsville and Katherine Robinson of Hopkinsville; and his brothers, Terry Abbitt of Medina and Tim Abbitt of Mt. Pleasant. He is also survived by three grandchildren.
