He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Mellerson and Dorothy Manning; and his brother Michael Manning. He is survived by: his wife Doris R. Manning of Hopkinsville, KY; his children, Gary W. Manning, Jr. of Hopkinsville, KY, LaTessa R. Smith of Broken Arrow, OK and LaRayna C. Manning-Perez of Hopkinsville, KY; his aunt Elenora; his uncle Buddy Moore of Washington, DC; his sister-in-law Carolyn Cason Parker of Charles County, MD; and his cousin Angela (Cooper). He is also survived by his thirteen grandchildren; and his nineteen great-grandchildren.
