He was predeceased by: his parents, James O. Northington and Shirley D. Crump; his brother Carl Stevenson Grubbs; and his grandmother Mary H. Crump Turner. He is survived by: his children, LeMar Northington (Tiffany), Prince Northington and Shawn Northington (Tiffany); and his siblings, Cheryl Cheatham, Mary Springer (Tommy), Lisa Legate (Christopher) and Claude Grubbs (Lisa). He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
